Elections 2016: Greenstreet ends greater Accra tour with call for votes for CPP

The 2016 Presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party, (CPP) Ivor Kobina Greenstreet has ended his one week campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region with a call on the electorate to make the right decision by voting the CPP to change the fortunes of the country. 

He said the choice that the electorate will make will determine the destiny of the country for the next four years and they cannot afford to make a mistake.  

Addressing supporters at Ningo Prampram Mr. Greenstreet said Ghana and Ghanaians deserve better conditions than what is being offered by the NDC government. 

Mr. Greenstreet said violence should not tolerated by anybody because that retards development. 

He said the peace of the country should not be compromise and call on all to ensure a violent free polls. 

Mr. Greenstreet said the peace and development that Ghanaians are seeking can only be guaranteed under his leadership.  

He said the both and the NPP and NDC has nothing to offer Ghanaians and must be voted out. 

He assured the people that his government will provide a cold store at beaches for the fisher folks to help preserve their catch.

The parliamentary candidate for the Ningo Prampram Frederick Marmah Martey said the electorate should take a sober reflection of the lives and make the right choice by voting the CPP.  

He said the CPP has a track record and legacies which all can attest to. 

The first vice Chairperson of the CPP Hajia Hamdatu Ibrahim said the election is not about violence but exchange of ideas. 

She said the fact that Mr. Greenstreet is in a wheelchair does not mean that he cannot perform.  

Haijia Ibrahim said a vote for Ivor Greenstreet is not a wasted vote but a vote to change the destiny of the country.

Meanwhile the CPP flagbearer Ivor Greenstreet will begin a three day campaign tour of the Eastern Region today.
