Elections 2016: CPP flagbearer describes youth unemployment in Ghana as a national crisis 

The 2016 presidential candidate of the Convention People’s Party, (CPP), Ivor Kobina Greenstreet has described as a national crisis the high rate of youth unemployment in Ghana. 

He said the problem must be tackle head on before it spells doom for the nation. 

Addressing party supporters at Krowor Tema West and Tema central constituencies of the Greater Accra Region on his campaign tour, Mr. Greenstreet said the CPP has well formulated and thought out plans develop with industry players that can help to solve the problem of youth unemployment, and urged the electorate to vote for the CPP come December 7. 

He said successive governments for the past 24 years have woefully fail to come out with practical programs to resolve the problem.  

He said the CPP will have a special fund for job creation to help train youth in various fields relevant to the demands of industries. 

Mr. Greenstreet also touch on the CPP policy in the agriculture and oil sectors

Mr. Greenstreet is ending his Greater Accra Regional tour today with visit to Ningo Prampram and Sege.
