Parliament approves $24.5M for sugar cane and irrigation project Ghana's Parliament has approved a 24 point five million dollar facility for a sugar cane and irrigation project to feed the Komenda sugar factory. The loan agreement is between government and the EXIM Bank of India. Management of the revamped Komenda sugar factory have had challenges getting enough raw materials to feed the factory.
