Medical team dispatched to Central region to contain cholera outbreak The Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Ebenezer Appiah Denkyira, says sanitation and hygiene are basic issues, therefore Ghanaians must do what is right in order to prevent diseases such as cholera. Speaking to Radio Ghana on cholera outbreak in the Central Region, Dr. Denkyira said a team of medical experts have been dispatched to the region to help contain the situation. He advised Ghanaians to stop indiscriminate disposal of refuse, open defecation and observe simple hygiene rules to prevent diseases. GBC
