NPP accuses NDC of not fulfilling promises made to Ghanaians The presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has bemoaned the collapse of the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) and promised to revamp the health sector. He said, he is not surprised that the Health Insurance has collapsed because when the Nationa; Democratic Congress (NDC) was not in power, it opposed the establishment of the NHIA. Nana Addo was speaking in the Gomoa constituency where his campaign trail stopped to address teaming supporters. He said when voted into power, his government will pay attention to the agriculture sector and implement policies that former President John Agyekum Kufuor implemented to revamp the sector. Former Trade Minister, Dr Konadu Apraku, called on the electorate to vote against NDC saying, the NDC government has failed Ghanaians and does not deserve a second term. GBC
