Ghana introduces new vaccine to combat Meningitis

The Ghana Health Service will from November 1 introduce a new vaccine into its routine national immunisation exercise.

The vaccine, known as MenAfriVac, will be available at every health facility and administered to children who are 18 months old for protection against Meningitis.
