Kenya imposes curfew in Mandera town

Kenyan authorities have introduced a dusk-to-dawn curfew in parts of Mandera County, the site of an attack on a guesthouse on Tuesday in which 12 people were killed. 
A notice, signed by Interior Minister Joseph Nkaisserry, said the curfew is from 6.30pm to 6.30am.
 
Meanwhile, Kenyan police have arrested the 21-year-old caretaker of the guesthouse where 12 people were killed in an attack claimed by militant Islamist group al-Shabab.
 
Abdirahman Ali is suspected to have aided the attackers during their raid of the guesthouse in north-eastern Mandera town.
