The Daily Graphic calls on all political stakeholders especially political parties to propagate peaceful election messages before, during and after the elections. The paper says in just 41 days to the general election, all must make peace a priority since the country cannot afford to take the country's peace for granted. The paper therefore appeals to all to sing the peace song together for a peaceful election in December.

The Ghanaian Times is happy with the introduction of Breast Cancer detection device by the Department of Chemical Pathology of the University of Cape Coast. The discovery in the paper's view is a breakthrough for breast cancer patients and women at large.  It says the challenge now is how to find the cause of the disease and congratulated the University and its team of expert who develop the device. It urges government and the Ministry of Health to support the UCC to produce more device for a wider use in the country.

The Heritage is worried about the partial return of ‘Dumsor’ in some areas lately. The paper says such power outages that normally occurs for hours is causing some businesses and consumers to complain and wonder whether the erratic power cuts ‘dumsor’ is back. The paper urged government to fix the creeping power crises and calls on the ECG to provide a power sharing schedule if need be.
