Adopt policy on aquaculture development in lower Volta Basin 

The Inland Culture Fisheries Association of Ghana (ICFAG), has appealed to government to adopt a national policy on small scale culture based fisheries and aquaculture development. 

Speaking to the media, the Board Chairman of the Association, Dr. Joseph Padi said this should be supported and backed with technical, financial and other resources in order to restore the industry in the lower Volta Basin. 

He said this at a national forum at Mepe in the Volta Region.
