ECG attributes recent power outages to faulty cables The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has attributed recent power intermissions in parts of Accra to an accident which occurred at its Mallam Bulk Supply Point (BSP). A statement issued by the ECG, said, staff of the Company are working to ensure that power is restored to the affected areas. "The Electricity Company of Ghana wishes to inform its cherished customers that there is an interruption in power supply in the western part of Accra due to an Accident which led to a cable cut tripping the system at its Mallam Bulk Supply Point (BSP)," the statement said.
