Global Hand Washing Day on the 15th of October,2016

The CEO of Sustainable Development Focus (SUDEF) an NGO, John Baidoo, has called on the public to make hand washing a habit to promote and improve health for the present and future generations.
 
He said about 18 per cent of health related issues in the country have their roots in improper hand washing hence the need to improve the situation. 

Mr. Baidoo was addressing a durbar to mark Global Hand Washing Day at the Stadium Basic School in the Sunyani Municipality in the Brong-Ahafo Region.

Global Hand Washing Day is marked on the 15th of October each year to highlight the importance of hand washing in ensuring good health.
