Farmers’ Day Planning committee pays courtesy call on GBC

Deputy Minister of Food and Agriculture, Dr Ahmed Yakubu Alhassan has challenged the media to give prominence to agricultural related events, in view of the significant contribution of the sector to the country's economy.
 
Dr Alhassan said this when members of the National Farmers Day Planning committee paid a courtesy call on the management of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) in Accra. 
 
The Deputy Minister expressed appreciation to the GBC which is an important partner in the planning and organisation of National Farmers’ Day celebrations.
