Petroleum and Energy Ministers meet in Accra A Committee of Ministers of Petroleum and Energy meeting is underway in Accra. Ministers from Ghana, Benin, Togo and Nigeria are attending. The ministers are evaluating the arrangement and operations of the West African Gas Pipeline Project particularly, the sustainable gas flow and supply, cash flow, tariffs and securing the pipelines. Opening the meeting the Chairman of the Committee of Ministers, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah said due to West African Gas Pipeline Company (WAPCO) delay in agreeing to a workable tariff with the regulator West African Gas Pipeline Authority (WAGPA), Ghana has deepened its resolve to construct a dedicated pipeline from Takoradi to Tema.
