Security Beefed Up At Tamale EC Office Following Sporadic Gunshots Over Voters Transfer Security has been beefed up at the Tamale metro Electoral Commission office following sporadic gunshots by unknown persons this afternoon. Radio Ghana's Correspondent, Mohammed Fugu reports that, the gunmen stormed the EC office and opened fire randomly after some young men prevented students from the University for Development studies from transferring their votes. According to him, the identity of the gunmen is yet unknown. He said the office has been locked up and joint personnel from the military and police have taken over the area to ensure calm.
