Speaker Doe Adjaho advocates stronger ties between Commonwealth nations The Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho says following the BREXIT referendum, the UK must strengthen its ties with other Commonwealth countries. He says a common understanding among the Commonwealth will be a catalyst for it being a more formidable front in world politics. Mr. Adjaho said this when the General Secretary of the Commonwealth, Baroness Patricia Scotland paid a courtesy call on him at Ghana’s Parliament. Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho the General Secretary of the Commonwealth, Baroness Scotland commended Ghana for the extra effort it put forth to achieve the MDGs especially in gender equality. She said the only way for a better world is by giving an avenue for both men and women. She said the best assert for the Commonwealth is its people especially its future. Present at the meeting were the Majority and Minority Leaders of Parliament. GBC
