Waste Treatment plant at Korle Gonno to be operational within two months

President John Mahama is optimistic that within two months the waste treatment plant at Korle -Gorno in Accra, will start operation to put a stop to the dumping of solid and faecal matter into the sea. 

The President was interacting with the Netherlands Ambassador to Ghana Hans Doctor, who was at the Flagstaff House to announce the end of his three-year duty tour of the country. 

The Netherlands has been one of Ghana's major partners dealing with sanitation and health initiatives. 

The envoys from Italy and India were also at the Flagstaff House to bid President Mahama fare well.
