Minority MPs accuse gov't of wasting chance to transform nation The minority NPP members of Parliament have accused government of wasting a historic opportunity of turning round the fortunes of Ghana. At a news conference in Accra, the Ranking Member on the Finance committee, Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei said the level of development is not equal to the amount of loans the government has contracted since 2009. He was giving his side's assessment of the supplementary budget presented in parliament this week. He said when it comes to power management, government ought to do more. He said budget support from Briton Woods institutions are not flowing in, thus compounding government's running of the economy. GBC
