Media tasked to effectively disseminate information on bird flu

The Ministry of Food and Agriculture has called on the media to effectively disseminate information on the Bird flu disease because of the socio-economic impact during an outbreak.  

The Ministry added that the media's role will prevent any misinformation and allay the fears of consumers.  

The appeal was made at a workshop in Accra organised for media practitioners to enable them to accurately report on the bird flu disease.
