Over 1000 displaced by rainstorm in N/R

One thousand, six hundred and four people have been displaced by the rains that hit the Upper East Region. 

Three major dams have had their banks broken. 

NADMO in the Upper East region is working hard to meet the needs of the displaced. 

The Deputy Chief Disaster Control Officer, Paul Woomar in an interview with Gloria Anderson said the organisation will ensure that the displaced are comfortable.
