Scientists Advance In Finding Vaccine Against HIV


Scientists around the world are advancing in finding a vaccine for HIV prevention.

The Principal Investigator of the HIV Vaccine Trials Network, Principal Larry Corey says the major difficulty in developing a vaccine is the extraordinary capacity of HIV to mutate and evade the antibodies that try to block it. 

Mr Corey was speaking at the on-going 21st International AIDS conference in Durban, South Africa.
