GIS to create anti-human trafficking desks at borders

The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) says it is to establish anti-human trafficking desks at all border posts.

This was made known by the Deputy Director of the Service, Bonaventure Agortimevor, at the opening ceremony of a three-day capacity building workshop for Law Enforcement Agencies in the country. 

The workshop is to give participants skills and knowledge to help curb human trafficking and to investigate and prosecute those involved in the act.
