GCPP flagbearer assures farmers of support 

Flagbearer of the Great Consolidated Popular Party, (GCPP), Dr. Henry Lartey has assured farmers of his party's support to boost all year farming if elected. 

He said the agriculture sector remains the solution to Ghana's economic problem hence, the need to privatise the sector. 

Speaking to GBC’s Radio Ghana after interacting with some farmers in the Keta district of Volta Region, Dr. Lartey said evidence on the ground shows that farmers are ready to produce enough to feed the nation and export only if government will support the sector.
