Review Transportation of Petroleum Products – Consultant

A Health and Safety Consultant, Charles James, says players in the petroleum sector must take another look at how petroleum products are transported.

 He said the use of tankers and its safety ramifications are gradually impacting negatively on the economy at the blind side of government. 

Opening a three-day workshop for Oil Marketing Companies in Accra, Mr. James said the sad aspect of the case is that players in the industry are not fully aware of the safety rules and regulations in the sector, thus exposing staff to the environment which is dangerous without the appropriate insurance.
