GPHA initiates steps to revamp Tema shipyard and Dry Dock The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority says the revamping of the Tema Shipyard and Dry Dock will create jobs for artisans and bring in more revenue to the state. Government gave the Authority the green light to take over the shipyard which has been defunct for some time now. Speaking to Radio Ghana on steps being taken to revamp the Tema Dry Dock and Shipyard, the Director of Business Development at the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Alice Torkornoo, first touched on the operations of the facility. Mrs Torkornoo said technical assessment is being conducted at the facility to bring in the needed investment and equipment for the Shipyard and Dry Dock to start operations. GBC
