New micro finance scam hits Volta region

Some residents of the Volta Region who invested into some supposed micro finance schemes took to the streets in Ho, today to demand the refund of their monies from the entities which are said to have gone into hibernation for more than a year.

The demonstrators clad in red and black held placards some of which read, Little Drops-Drop our money, Prosperity – we need our money, Dr. Raphael – where is our money. 

According to the leader of the disappointed clients, Maxwell Dzronku, several efforts to trace the whereabouts of the entities or their directors have proved futile.
