GABF on a search mission for regional executives


The Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation (GABF) says it is on a search mission to recruit new executive members for the various regions across the country.

This according to the Federation forms part of measures to improve amateur boxing across the the country by bringing together committed and well-to-do individuals to form the regional bodies.

The Federation has therefore announced vacancies for the following positions across all the ten regions; Chairman, Vice Chairman, Organizer, Treasurer, Secretary and two other board members.

According to the president of the GABF, Mr Gideon Quartey the position is opened to the general public. “Anybody with interest in boxing at heart can apply. But it must be noted that it is purely voluntary,” he stated.

Mr. Quartey said the outgoing executives are also eligible to apply. 

He however, stressed that short-listed applicants from the various regions will be interviewed in their respective regions to decide those to be recruited.

Interested persons may apply for the available positions by sending a letter of interest, attached with their curriculum vitae (cv) through the following mails Ghaamateurboxing15@gmail.com, or through odarqq@gmail.com, before the end of July.
