Vice President charges Africa Power producers to bridge power deficit in Africa

Vice President  Kwesi Amissah Arthur has challenged African Power Producers to find innovative ways to develop energy sources that will bridge the power deficit in the sub-region.  

He said the continent still has challenges with power because of failure to keep pace with increasing demand in the sector.  

The Vice President was speaking at the opening of the 50th Annual Meeting of the Association of Power Utilities of Africa in Accra.
