GJA cautions parties against attacks on journalists


As the Nation prepares to go to the Polls, the Ghana Journalists Association, GJA has urged political parties to impress upon their members not to attack any journalist in the course of their work. 

According the GJA the Political Parties must provide maximum security for all media personnel who will be assigned to cover their activities towards, during and after the general elections. 

The President of the Association Dr. Affail Monney stated this when he made a presentation in Parliament in support of the amendment to Article 112(4) of the 1992 Constitution for Parliamentary and Presidential elections to be held in November.
