N1 Highway Through Kasoa Township To be closed To Traffic From July 10-23, 2016 As part of the Kasoa Interchange Project, the section of the N1 Highway passing through the Kasoa Township will be closed to traffic between 10pm and 5am each night. This is to enable the contractor to lift into place the STEEL BEAMS for the bridge construction. The closure will start on Sunday, July 10, 2016 and continue for a period of two weeks and it is likely to end on 23rd,July,2016. This was contained in a statement issued in Accra and copied to the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC). The statement which was signed by the Project Manager said, the main diversion route for drivers on the N1 is the New Kasoa Western Bypass that starts in the East (Accra side) after the Tuba Tool Booth, and on the West (Winneba side) about 1500m from Budumburam (Liberia camp) It further advised drivers to pay attention to traffic diversion signs placed at vantage points on the networks to find alternative routes for their travels GBC
