Former President Kufuor receives Leadership and Governance award 

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has received an Award for Leadership and Governance. 

The ceremony which was organised by the Energy Net UK and the Ghana UK Based Achievement (GUBA) saw the former Ghanaian leader walk home with the prestigious award at the maiden edition of Impact Africa Summit Ghana.  

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Kufuor explained that the central role of every leader will be to ensure the safety of the world.  

Eulogising the importance of effective leadership, the former President said  leadership does not fall like a ripe fruit from a tree, but there is the need to nurture leadership.  

Impact Africa Summit Ghana is an initiative of the Diplomatic Corps in partnership with the Diplomatic Council, International Perspective, Energy Net UK and the Ghana UK Based Achievement, GUBA Awards.
