Muntie FM owner, 3 others to appear before Supreme Court on July 12

The Supreme Court has set the 12th this month to hear a contempt case against the owner of Muntie FM, and three others for some scandalous comments made on the station. 

The three are a host of the station, Salifu Maase and two panelists, Alistair Nelson and Godwin Ako Gunn. 

They are to explain to the court why they should not be committed to prison for contempt. 

According to the summons, on the 29th of last month, the panelists ran commentary on the then pending Abu Ramadan case. 

In the course of it, they were spurred on by the host and allegedly threatened and scandalized the court. 

According to the summons, the action of the respondents have defied and lowered the authority of the court bring it into disrepute. 

They are to appear before the court at 9:30am.
