Request permit before importing Chemicals - EPA to Importers

The need for Ghanaian importers to request permit from the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, before importing chemicals has been empahasized. 

According to the EPA, chemicals though useful to humans and the environment can be harmful. 

This was the message echoed at an Environmental Results and Inception forum for the Continuing Regional Support of the Persistent Organic Pollutants, POP's in Accra.
