Load shedding has not been declared - President Mahama 

President John Mahama has attributed the recent power outages to a generational problem.  

He explained that due to sabotage in Nigeria, a quantity of Crude Oil that was ordered last month has not arrived.   

President Mahama stated that a state of load shedding has not been declared as all is being done to rectify the situation.

He has therefore directed BOST to store one month of crude oil to deal with situation. 

He made the remarks during the Eid-UL-Fitr Prayers at the Black Star Square in Accra.
