PNC urges political parties to commit to peace

The Flagbearer of the PNC, Dr. Edward Mahama has challenged colleague leaders of political parties to focus their campaigns solely on issues.

He said unsavoury remarks, personality attacks among others are elements that will mar the peace being enjoyed. 

Dr. Mahama noted that Ghana has come a long way, saying the need to ensure peace should be the topmost priority for all Ghanaians going into election 2016.

The PNC flagbearer made the observation when the Rotary Club of Accra presented an attestation to him on his quest for peace.

In a remark the immediate Past President, Rotary Club of Accra-Legon, John Michael who presented the attestation indicated that the organisation is based on peace building. 

Therefore, it has and will continue to champion peace initiatives to ensure that Ghana`s image on the international scene remain intact.
