Supreme Court orders deletion of voters with NHIS cards The Supreme Court says its orders in the last judgement on the Abu Ramadan suit was for the Electoral Commission to delete from the voter's register names of persons who registered with NHIS cards in 2012. In view of this the court has ordered the EC to delete the names on the list it presented to the court as well as those who are not on the list but have also been found to have registered with the NHIS Card. The order comes in the wake of an application filed by Abu Ramadan for clarification and further direction from the court on the judgement. The Court said the directives are in pursuant to Article 2, clause 2 of the Constitution and takes precedence over C1 91. GBC
