Women Group petitions Parliament for alleged comments by Assin Central MP, Ken Agyepong
 
A group calling itself concerned women of the Central Region have petitioned the Speaker of Parliament Edward Doe Adjaho over comments made by the MP for Assin Central, Ken Ohene Agyapong on the appointment of the chairperson of the EC.
 
The petition was received by a Deputy Majority Whip, Hajia Mary Boforo.
 
The leader of the group Akua Swanzy said they had to petition the Speaker because all appeals made hitherto for Mr. Agyapong to retract his comments have yielded no results.

Upon receipt of the petition, Hajia Mary Boforo assured them of getting it to the speaker.
