Police descend on Okada operators

The Motor Traffic and Transport Department, MTTD, of the Ghana Police Service says arrest of traffic offenders especially Okada riders is ongoing. 

Currently, so many offenders are facing trials at the Motor Court whiles others are being processed for court. 

Those found guilty are usually fined and given other punishments as the court may decide. 

The Director General of the MTTD, ACP Patrick Adusei Sarpong, told Radio Ghana’s George Asekere that the MTTD has enough men to deal with the Okada menace but the problem remains attitudinal.
