Nana Addo Dankwa tours Eastern region The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is on a five day “Listening Tour” of the Eastern Region. He started at Fotobi in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency and called on the people to reject tribal politics and rather vote for a candidate who is capable of bringing development to their door step. Nana Akufo Addo is being accompanied by MP for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Frank Annor Dompreh and some former Ministers of State. He reiterated the need for Ghanaians to vote for the NPP to improve their lives. At Adeiso in the Upper West Akim district, the NPP Flagbearer asked the people to assess the track record of the NPP when they were in power and give them the opportunity to transform the economy. Nana Akufo Addo said the NPP can boast of numerous social interventions to improve the economy. Among them were the NHIS, Capitation Grant, and Free Maternal Care which according to him, are on the verge of collapsing due to mismanagement by government. The Chief of Adeiso, Osabarima Asare Oduor in welcoming the Flagbearer and his entourage said the NPP government brought treated water to the community though it remains a strong hold of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He therefore asked the people to vote wisely come November. At Asamankese where a rally was organized at the central market, the NPP Flagbearer, urged the people to debunk the assertion that the one – district, one – factory policy is not feasible. Nana Akufo Addo asked the people to give the NPP the opportunity to steer the affairs of the country; adding that per their competence, the policy will be a reality. At Aboabi in Akwatia, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate, Ama Sey, called on all and sundry to vote for the party. The Flagbearer has so far visited Suhum, Abuakwa North and South Constituencies and will today visit Begoro, Asasawa and Lower and Upper Manya Krobo and its environs. GBC
