Boris Johnson hails 'glorious opportunity' of Brexit as David Cameron resigns

The leader of the British Conservative Party and likely person to take over from UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has hailed the  outcome of the Brexit referendum as noble. 

Speaking in London, Mr. Johnson said the outcome  will now allow the UK  to take back the foundation of its democracy and prosperity. 

He strongly suggested that with the referendum, the UK will now set its own laws and control its borders. 

Also  in a reaction, the First Minister of Scotland argued  that Edinburgh can safely call for a second referendum on Scotish independence from the UK.
