EC must abide by Supreme Court's ruling-Abu Ramadan Former PNC National Youth Organiser, Abu Ramadan, says he hopes the EC will abide by the Supreme Court's ruling for it to explicitly submit the full list of persons who used the NHIS card to register for voters ID Cards. Speaking on Radio Ghana’s current affairs programme “Behind the News,” Mr Ramadan said if the EC had complied with the earlier ruling, the back and forth at the Supreme Court on the cleaning of the voters register would have been avoided. A legal Practitioner, Yaw Oppong says the EC stands the risk of losing public trust if it fails to comply with the Court's ruling this time around. He said there are risks of facing prison sentences if such rulings are not complied with. Mr Oppong was of the view that the EC deliberately refused to abide by the Courts ruling previously of and this should not be repeated. GBC
