Ghana hosts water and sanitation experts from Africa

Ghana is hosting experts in Water and Sanitation from five African and twelve European countries to discuss the alarming rate of water and sanitation related problems.

The experts say water in most African countries have been exploited and polluted and can no more be used for its intended purpose.

The three day event will bring the problems to the table and recommend an effective solution to the challenges. 

The Minister for Water Resources, Works and Housing, Dr.Kwaku Agyeman Mensah, said because water and housing move hand in hand, government, with support from the World Bank is implementing projects across board to once and for all, address water scarcity.
