The Daily Heritage appeals for forgiveness for the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Nii Laryea Afotey Agbo who was caught dozing off at a public function. The paper says losing control and sleeping at public functions is a national occurrence which many political leaders and civil servants have been grappling with. It says Mr Afotey Agbo deserves forgiveness for being bold to acknowledge that he was indeed tired and messed up therefore dozed off during the President's Accounting to the people's tour of Greater Accra. The paper urges politicians and public servants to learn to have enough rest to be more efficient.

The Daily Graphic is of the view that there is no partisanship needed in solving the power challenges the country is facing. The paper believes due to erratic power supply in the past, the Ghanaian has suffered one way or the other. The Paper says as a result of these problem Ghanaians have had to face challenges such as high and inconsistent electricity bills which have been blamed on the billing system the ECG has employed. The Graphic is disturbed about government’s failure at communication of the issue to the public. The Paper says the power problem affects all and must not in any way be politicised. 

The Ghanaian Times commends the National Service Secretariat for the early posting made this year. The paper says the decision by Dr Kpessa-Whyte and his management must be applauded. The paper expects that this will become a normal practice by the Secretariat in the years to come. It urges students and user agencies to take advantage of the opportunities offered to resolve all issues and avert any perennial underhand dealings that have characterised previous postings in the past.
