Expansion works on Accra-Tema Motorway begins next month Expansion works on the Tema-Accra Motorway will begin next month. The Ghana Highway Authority says it is in the final stages of discussions and is hopeful the works will start as planned. The Deputy Chief Executive of the Authority, Baba Kasim Nuhu told Radio Ghana that preparatory works has already started. Meanwhile, the Ghana Highway Authority has given indications to begin work on the Peduase-Ayimensah Stretch of the Accra-Aburi road where rock falls have been threatening the safety of motorists and pedestrians. The work which will take five months to complete will be in partnership with a Turkish company. The Deputy Chief Executive of the Highway Authority, Baba Kasim Nuhu in an interview with Radio Ghana’s Gloria Anderson said the road will be partially closed to motorists. GBC
