The Daily Graphic writes on the need to engage professionals in all sectors of the economy for transformation. The paper says the country is groping in the dark looking for solution to its myriad of problems because those who have the knowhow have not been involved. The fear among professionals have been that when they bring out the issues as they are and point out the faults that have resulted in disaster and challenges, they are labelled as belonging to a particular political party. The paper says Ghana is blessed with knowledgeable people and their expertise must be tapped to address the country's numerous challenges especially in the financial sector. 

The Ghanaian Times is happy that the ban on the export on Ghana's vegetables has been lifted by the EU. The ban according to the paper was a dent on the image of the country and particularly farmers who produce vegetables for export. The implication of the ban was that Ghana lost foreign exchange and could take advantage of the preference tariffs agreed under the economic partnership agreement EPA between ECOWAS and the EU. The Times is hopeful government and all the necessary stakeholders have taken measures for the farmers to adhere to standards for the production of the vegetables.
