Police Administration to prosecute culpable police officers

The Police Administration says its personnel arrested in connection with the death of one Police Officer in the Brong Ahafo Region will be prosecuted if found culpable.

The administration says no one is above the laws of Ghana hence the Service will not hesitate to take disciplinary action against anyone found to have gone contrary to the code of conduct of the Police Service. 

In an interview with Radio Ghana, DSP Freeman Tettey of the Public Affairs Directorate, said misconduct by some police personnel has no bearing on the mode of recruitment.

DSP Freemen Tettey said adequate training is being given to Police Personnel to ensure efficiency in their operation.
