Government Refutes Allegation Of Conflict Of Interest Levelled Against President Mahama Government has denied allegations of conflict of interest levelled against President John Mahama. This is in reaction to media reports which sought to link a vehicle presented to the President in 2012 to two contracts awarded to a Burkinabe-owned construction firm. A statement signed by the Minister of Communications, Dr Edward Omane-Boamah said the said vehicle, which was placed in the vehicle pool at the Presidency as per established convention had nothing to do with the award of the contracts.
