Gov’t under IPP to relocate Capital City to ease congestion & perennial flooding 

The government of the Independent People’s Party, will relocate the Capital City from Accra and cited at between Brong Ahafo and northern region as a permanent measure to deal with congestion and perennial flooding. 

The Boankra Inland Port Project shall be facilitated for early completion to make Kumasi railway and Industrial Hub. 

The leader and Flagbearer of the IPP Kofi Akpaloo disclosed this at the launch of the Party’s 2016 Manifesto at the party’s headquarters in Kumasi.
 
According to Mr. Akpaloo the growth of the economy and standards of living among Ghanaians shall remain stagnated as long as the management of the state is entrusted in the hands of the NDC and NPP. 

He said, it is only the IPP that can change the face of the economy for the better. 

On education, Mr. Akpaloo said his government will merge the JHS and SHS to close the yawning gaps that exists between the two. Vital sectors of Ghana’s education
 
The IPP leader lauded the Kufour Administration for instituting the Affordable Housing Project and sadly abrogated by the NDC government and stated that his administration will complete the existing ones and initiate more of which the beneficiaries will only rent and pay for the money to be used to invest in additional structures instead of being purchased outright. 

He disclosed that the Manifesto, the first to be launched will have an answer to the transport sector by providing public transport to compete with the private sector across the country. 

Government under his presidency will make health insurance scheme free to the poor while provisions shall be made to pay people below 18 years 50 Ghana cedis a month while unemployed above 18 years shall be paid one hundred and 50 Ghana Cedis a month. 

Mr. Akpaloo asked Ghanaians to vote for him to end the cycle of unemployment by lifting the current embargo on employment.
