Tributes pour in for African icon Keshi

Tributes continue to pour in for former Nigerian Player and Coach Stephen Okechukwu Keshi who died last night.  

Former Black Stars Goal Keeper Abubakar Damba said Nigeria and Africa have lost an illustrious son who gave his all for the game of football. 

He recalled some of his interactions with the late Keshi who was also known as the "Boss" in his playing days. 

Mr Damba said he displayed a high sense of discipline both on and off the field, which played a role in him winning the AFCON both as a player and a Coach. 

He proposed that the Nigerian football Association immortalises him by documenting his works for future generations.
