GMET appeals to Ghanaians to have confidence in weather reports 

The Director General of the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMET), Group Captain Stephen Komla has asked the public to have confidence in the weather forecast of the Agency. 

Speaking at a five day workshop of the World Meteorological Organisation and industry players on service delivery, Group Captain Komla, said the Agency has improved on its service delivery and manpower.

He added that GMET now has a lot of professional meteorologists in the system for accurate and timely forecast to keep the public well informed. 

He said, he is confident this time round any information given by GMET, is more than 70% accurate.
