Kumasi Metro Agric Officer shoot dead by armed robbers The Kumasi Metro Agric Officer, Joseph Baah Tweneboah, has been shot dead by a gang of suspected armed robbers at his private residence at Abo)ntem New Site in the Ashanti region. The incident happened at about 7pm last night when he was returning from work. The gang of three masked men are believed to have either trailed him or laid ambush for the attack. The robbers are alleged to have subjected his wife, Mrs Esther Adomako to violent attacks. The Chairman of the area's Landlords' Association of which the late Baah Tweneboah was an Executive Member also spoke to Radio Ghana about the security situation at the New Site and what is being done to protect life and property there. Mr Joseph Baah Tweneboah and Mrs Esther Adomako have been married for 14 years now with six children. The police are said to have responded swiftly to the distress call after the attack. The body has been deposited at the St Michael's Hospital morgue at Pramso. At the time our correspondent arrived at the scene, the police, led by the Regional Commander, DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye had already arrived there to console the bereaved family and investigate the incident. The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako was also at the scene to commiserate with the Wife. GBC
